ALDI - Manifesto

For the ALDI Manifesto commercial, I shot on Alexa Mini with Leica Summilux glass under director Adrián Egea at Finesse. The brief called for something direct and unvarnished, so we kept the approach clean, letting the optics handle the character work. Those Leicas have a particular rendering, a kind of effortless sharpness with real soul in the falloff, which felt right for what we were building. The Alexa Mini gave us the flexibility to move quickly between setups without sacrificing image quality, crucial when you're chasing a specific mood across multiple locations. It's the kind of shoot where the gear choices matter less than how they serve the story, but when they align properly, you feel it. Barcelona-based, working worldwide, I find these manifesto-style pieces reward clarity in the technical foundation so the performance and message can breathe.
