Colacao Noir

For the Colacao Noir commercial, I shot on Alexa Mini paired with Cooke S4i lenses, which gave us that clean, controlled look the brief demanded. Adrián Egea directed, Finesse produced, and we were after something graphically sharp but warm, the kind of thing that reads fast on a 15-second cut. The S4i glass has this particular rendering quality, especially stopped down, that felt right for the product work without looking clinical. Barcelona-based, working worldwide, I find that pairing matters more than people think. The Mini's sensor plays beautifully with those Cookes, minimal flare, excellent contrast separation. We kept lighting intentional and minimal, let the camera and glass do the heavy lifting. It's the kind of job where restraint in the tech stack actually gives you more control, not less.
