Nespresso

I shot this Nespresso commercial in Barcelona with director Alex Llopis and Possible production, and we kept things lean and intentional. The brief called for precision and warmth in equal measure, so we built the lighting around practical sources and controlled fill to keep the coffee and product feeling tactile without that glossy overlit look. We used fast glass to isolate details and maintain shallow depth of field through the sequences, letting the viewer sit close to each moment. The color grade pulls toward amber and deep blacks, which sounds simple until you're trying to hold shadow detail while keeping the espresso black actually black. It's the kind of work where every frame has to earn its place, and where the craft becomes invisible if you get it right.
