The Burger

I shot this tabletop commercial for director Paolo Tonoli at Moviechrome Studios with a Phantom camera operated by Sonia Veronelli, which let us capture the burger's motion at high frame rates without losing detail. The SFX team, Patrizio Todisco, Andrea Bonomi, and Franco Aroni, built the hero in sections so we could light it properly and keep it looking fresh across takes. Foodstylist Iviano Ravasio maintained the integrity of each layer while we worked through lighting setups with gaffer Gigi Pasquali and key grip Mario Zacchetti. The real challenge was balancing practical light with the speed requirements, keeping everything tight and controlled. Federico De Maestri handled the Bolt motion control rig, which meant we could dial in repeatable moves and lock focus with focus puller Gabriele Gregorig. Moviechrome's producers, Edoardo Mari, Francesco Guerroni, Alessio Bellunato, and Erika Fiordaliso, kept the whole operation moving. Color grading by Oras Rhnema and VFX by Alessandro Sanna finished the look after we wrapped.
