For the Elseve Sugar Scrubs beauty commercial, I worked with director Adrián Egea to build a tactile, close-focus world where texture and product interaction became the visual language. We leaned into macro work and controlled lighting to catch the granular detail of the scrub against skin, keeping the palette warm and intimate without veering into oversaturated beauty cliché. The challenge was making a skincare product feel genuinely useful on camera rather than just pretty, so we prioritized honest product performance and the sensory moment of application. It's the kind of shoot where your lighting setup matters more than your color grade, and where patience with practical effects beats any post-production trick.
