Givenchy L'Interdit

I shot this beauty spot for Givenchy L'Interdit with director Esther Padial and the team at Finesse, all in Barcelona. We were after something intimate but precise, the kind of close-up work where every texture matters and you can't hide behind shallow depth or soft focus. The brief was to showcase the fragrance bottle and the skin around it with real dimension, so we leaned into controlled lighting and careful lens selection to hold detail across the frame without going clinical. It's the sort of job where you spend half your time dialing in the exact angle of a light modifier and the other half convincing yourself that millimetres actually matter, which they do. Barcelona light helped, but most of the heavy lifting came from understanding how to build contrast and separation on a small scale without the image feeling overlit or artificial.
