Shoot on Phamtom Flex 4K
with Arri UP 40mm

For the BSM commercial, directors Xavi Pablo and Txema Alguacil needed something that could capture fast motion and precise detail in a single take. I shot it on the Phantom Flex 4K, which gave us the frame rate flexibility to play with speed without losing that crisp, clean look the spot demanded. Paired with the Arri UP 40mm, we had the optical quality to hold detail across the frame, whether we were running at normal speed or pushing into high-speed territory. The lens is sharp enough that you're not fighting with softness in post, and that matters when you're working with motion control or any kind of precision timing. Barcelona-based but working worldwide, I find that high-speed work often looks best when you're not overthinking it, just letting good glass and a capable sensor do what they're built for.
