OCB Bamboo

For the OCB Bamboo commercial directed by Esther Padial, I wanted to keep things minimal and let the product breathe. We shot on a clean, controlled setup that gave us room to play with light and texture without overthinking it. The bamboo packaging has a natural warmth to it, so the challenge was finding that sweet spot between product clarity and mood, you know, the kind of thing that makes you actually want to pick it up at a shop. Esther had a clear vision for pacing, and we built the lighting around that rhythm. Nothing too fancy, just solid technique and discipline. It's the kind of shoot where good fundamentals matter more than gear, though obviously you still need to know your tools inside out. Based in Barcelona but working worldwide, I approach every commercial the same way, whether it's tabletop or narrative, trying to solve the visual problem rather than impose a style.
