I shot this commercial for Simon Coll with director Adrián Egea and production company Finesse, working in Barcelona. The brief called for clean product storytelling with precision lighting and tight framing, so we kept the camera work minimal and let the light do the heavy lifting. I focused on practical lighting setups that would hold detail in the product while keeping the background controlled, which meant dialing in the right balance between key and fill without overcomplicating the rig. Finesse brought a clear vision to set, and Adrián knew exactly what he wanted frame-to-frame, which meant we could move quickly and stay focused on the craft rather than chasing ideas. The shoot was straightforward in the best way, the kind where good planning and solid fundamentals make everything feel effortless on the day.
