Beret - Si Por Mi Fuera

For Beret's "Si Por Mi Fuera" music video, I shot on the Alexa Mini paired with Cooke Classic 18-100mm glass, which gave us that warm, slightly vintage feel without fighting the modern color palette director Adrián Egea was after. The single lens meant I could move quickly through tight spaces and nail handheld moments without constantly swapping, which mattered because we were tracking a lot of movement through urban environments. The Cooke's rendering is forgiving on skin tones, something you appreciate when you're working with natural light and limited control. It's a straightforward approach, really, but the constraint of one focal length forced cleaner composition choices than I might've made otherwise. Barcelona-based cinematography often means adapting to whatever location throws at you, and this setup handled that without complaint.
