I shot this tabletop yogurt spot with Adrián Egea directing for Finesse, and honestly it was one of those projects where the simplicity of the brief masks the actual work. We're talking a dairy product that needs to look alive without looking fake, which means controlling light in millimeter increments and understanding how texture reads on camera. The challenge was making something as mundane as yogurt feel like it had dimension and weight, keeping the color true but the surface interesting. It's the kind of shoot where you spend half the day dialing in one light position because the spoon reflection matters, or the way the product catches at a specific angle changes the whole read. That's tabletop work, really. Not glamorous to talk about at parties, but the discipline of it teaches you more about how light actually behaves than any music video ever will.
