Shot this Oikos commercial with Adrian Egea and Esther Padial at Finesse, and the brief was straightforward, which is always dangerous because it means you have to nail the fundamentals. We were dealing with dairy product work, so the lighting had to be precise, the color temperature locked, and the motion controlled enough that every pour and every surface read cleanly. The challenge wasn't complexity, it was restraint, making sure the product felt tactile and real without overworking it. Kept the setup minimal, let the direction and the product itself carry the weight. That's when you learn what you're actually doing behind the camera, when there's nowhere to hide behind effects or movement.
