Donuts XO

I shot this tabletop commercial for Donuts XO with director Adrián Egea at Good Company, and it was one of those projects where the brief was simple but the execution demanded precision. We're talking macro work, tight depth of field, and lighting that had to sculpt every glaze and sprinkle without flattening the product. The challenge was keeping the donuts looking fresh and appetizing under hot lights while maintaining enough detail in the shadows to read the texture. I used controlled lighting ratios and practical reflectors to build dimension, and we locked down every move so the focus could track cleanly across the frame. It's tabletop work, so there's no room for compromise, but that's exactly why I love it. The constraint forces you to be intentional with every technical choice.
