Epica Put all the Pears

I shot this tabletop commercial for Fetish Films, directed by Esther Padial, out in Belgrade. The brief was straightforward but the execution demanded precision, so we built a controlled environment where every element of the fruit and composition could breathe. Working at tabletop scale means your lighting has to be surgical, your camera placement deliberate. We treated the pears as characters, really, letting the geometry and texture drive the frame. The shoot required patience and technical discipline, but that's where tabletop lives, right. It's less about spectacle and more about understanding how light falls on a surface, how a camera sees what your eye misses. Padial had a clear vision for the mood, and we locked into that through careful positioning and control. Belgrade's light was useful too, once we brought it indoors and shaped it properly.
