Ferrero Ice Cream

For this Ferrero Rocher ice cream tabletop commercial directed by Niels Thonsen at Moviemagic Int, I shot on Phantom VEO 4K and Alexa Mini LF with Supreme Primes to capture the meticulous architecture of the product. The brief called for that luxurious, sensual feel, so we leaned into high-speed and motion-control work to isolate the chocolate coating and nut layers in macro, letting each element breathe without looking sterile. The color palette sat in warm browns and golds, which meant careful lighting, soft sources to keep the product looking appetising rather than overlit. Patrizio Todisco and the SFX team handled the pour and splash sequences with precision, while Iviano Ravasio's food styling kept everything camera-ready across multiple takes. We shot at Moviechrome Studios, which gave us the control we needed for those hero shots where timing and focus had to lock. The Phantom operator Sonia Veronelli and focus puller Gabriele Gregorig were crucial for nailing the high-speed work, and Oras Rhnema's color grade brought the whole thing together in post.
