Nesquik - Happy Mornings

For Nesquik's Happy Mornings tabletop commercial, directed by Adrián Egea at production company Finesse, I focused on the choreography of light hitting product and surface. Tabletop work demands patience, so we built a lighting setup that could shift subtly between shots without losing coherence, keeping the chocolate milk's depth and the breakfast elements feeling natural rather than hyperlit. Adrián's direction was clear about mood, which meant I could spend time on the small moves, the way light catches a spoon or settles into a bowl. It's the kind of shoot where you're thinking about millimetres and colour temperature constantly, where a small adjustment to a reflector changes everything. The constraint of the format actually freed us up creatively, because when you're locked into a small space, every decision becomes intentional.
