Oda al Cacaolat

For this tabletop commercial, I shot Oda al Cacaolat with director Adrián Egea using the Phantom Flex 4K to capture chocolate and milk in high-speed detail. The brief called for precision macro work, so I dialed in the Arri Master Macro 100mm and Arri Macro 35mm to lock tight on product geometry and liquid interaction. Tabletop work like this lives or dies on optics and frame rate, so we leaned hard into the Phantom's capability to hold shutter control at speed while maintaining the shallow, controlled depth of field that makes chocolate look like chocolate. Lighting became architectural, built around the macro lens requirements rather than fighting them. The result is a piece where every frame feels deliberate, where you can read the texture and movement without it feeling overwrought.
