Shot the Italpizza 2023 tabletop commercial in Milano with director Paolo Tonoli and Mediaset, and we went in hard on the gear because the brief demanded it. Used the Phantom VEO 4K for high-speed work on the food, which gave us that crystalline detail when things started moving, then cut to Alexa Mini LF for the wider hero shots. Supreme Primes across the board kept everything sharp and consistent, no compromise on glass. Tabletop work lives or dies by your technical setup, honestly, so we treated the lighting and camera choreography like they mattered as much as the food itself. The idea was to make the product feel tactile and real, not overlit or sterile, which meant trusting the sensor and the optics to do the heavy lifting. That's where the investment in the Alexa and Phantom paid off.
