KFC International Camping for Mena

I shot this tabletop commercial for KFC International's MENA campaign with director Natascha Brandt at Chucks Studios, and we worked out of Amsterdam to build those hero food moments. The brief was straightforward, but tabletop work never is, you know. We're talking precise lighting setups to catch the texture and gloss on fried chicken, getting the steam right, making sure the product reads clearly across markets without looking overlit or flat. I relied on controlled key and fill to sculpt dimension into every plate, keeping the color temperature consistent across multiple shooting days so the edit would feel seamless. The challenge with international food work is that what plays in one region might feel off in another, so we shot with flexibility built into the lighting ratios and color grading notes. It's the kind of work where millimetres matter and where you earn your fee through repetition and restraint rather than flash.
