Verte Ya - Gustavo Casas

For Verte Ya, a music video directed by Adolfo Bueno and co-directed by Rodrigo Vera, I shot on the Canon 5D Mark with Canon Cine Lenses in 1.78 aspect ratio, capturing everything in Canon Raw for maximum flexibility in post. Grilled Cheese Studio produced the piece, with Lis Acconciagioco handling art direction and Esther Padial producing. The shoot took place in Barcelona, and I wanted the image to feel tactile and immediate, letting the camera work sit close to the performance rather than overshadow it. Raw capture meant I could preserve detail in both highlights and shadows without compromise, which mattered given the dynamic lighting Adolfo and Rodrigo were building into each scene. Veronica and Adolfo handled editing, with additional photography from Alejandro Beltrán rounding out the visual language. It's the kind of project where gear serves the story, not the other way around.
