Baiocchi Gelato

I shot this tabletop commercial for Baiocchi Gelato with director Paolo Tonoli at Think Catleya, and it was one of those jobs where the constraint becomes the thing. You're working inches away from product, the lighting has to be surgical, and every frame needs that balance between appetite appeal and genuine craft. We treated the gelato itself as the lead actor, which meant precision in how we lit the texture, the melt, the spoon work. The scale is small but the attention is massive, and that's what tabletop demands. Paolo had a clear vision for the pacing and the mood, and we locked into that rhythm pretty quickly. It's the kind of work that reminds you why you got into this, honestly.
