Vegetarian Butcher Minced Meat

I shot this tabletop commercial for De Vegetarische Slager's Rul Gehackt in Amsterdam with director Natascha Brandt, and honestly, the art direction was so good it made my job easier. We used a Sony Venice 1 with Kowa lenses to capture the hero shots, macro work, and dolly moves across the set. The production designer had this rustic, nostalgic mood dialed in, with deep reds and warm earth tones that just worked under the light. We went high-speed for the splash and pour shots, which let us really milk those moments where the plant-based mince hits the pan. The volumetric lighting fell beautifully across the product, and the macro lens got intimate with the texture in a way that made you forget you're looking at something vegetarian. It's one of those jobs where the craft of the thing, the gear, the timing, all clicked.
