Dominos Madrissima

I shot this tabletop commercial for Dominos with director Mauri D. Galiano at Zissou production in Madrid. We were after that clean, appetizing look without the usual glossy trap, so we kept lighting minimal and let the product speak. The challenge with tabletop is fighting the flatness, especially on food, so we played with shallow depth of field and careful key placement to carve dimension into the frame. Shot on a setup that let us move quickly between angles without losing consistency across takes. The whole thing hinged on understanding how light hits cheese and crust at different temperatures, and honestly, that's where the real work happens on these jobs. Not the gear, not the setup, just knowing what you're actually looking at.
