KFC SBWL

I shot this KFC commercial in Cape Town with director Joris Noordenbos and Chucks Studios, and it was one of those jobs where the location itself became a character. We were working with tight briefs and tighter schedules, which meant every setup had to earn its place. The challenge was balancing product visibility with the energy of the environment, so we leaned into natural light where we could and built around it where we couldn't. Working in South Africa meant adapting on the fly, troubleshooting gear in the heat, and trusting your crew. The final spot has that documentary-adjacent feel you get when you're shooting real locations rather than controlled sets, which I think is what made it land.
