Buittoni + Leisi Ex

I shot this commercial for Buitoni and Leisi Ex with director Paul Butterworth at Filmmaster, and we filmed it in Milano. The brief was straightforward on the surface, but the execution demanded precision. We were working in tight spaces with natural light as our anchor, which meant dialing in the color science early and staying disciplined with exposure. The food had to sit right between appetizing and truthful, no plastic sheen. I chose gear that gave us flexibility without slowing down between setups, since we were moving fast through different locations. What made this one tick was respecting the product's simplicity rather than dressing it up. Sometimes the best commercial work is just about showing up with the right tools, understanding the light in the room, and letting the director's vision breathe.
