Dominos Burger Scientists

Shot in Madrid for Domino's, this commercial directed by Mauri D. Galiano needed to sell a burger pizza through pure visual comedy. We went macro and tabletop-heavy, using dolly moves to build momentum as the concept unfolds, then cutting to lifestyle moments that ground the product. The lighting was split between soft wraps for the hero shots and harder side light to sculpt the toppings and crust, keeping everything appetising without losing that playful, slightly absurd energy the spot demanded. The color palette leaned into warm golds and browns against cooler greys, which helped the pizza pop without feeling oversaturated. Macro work was crucial here, getting close enough to make the burger elements read clearly at speed. It's the kind of spot where technique has to disappear into the idea, and the camera work just supports what's funny about flattening a burger into pizza form.
