Ninja Espresso

For the Ninja Espresso commercial directed by Joris Noordenbos at Bunker Films, I shot in London with a focus on the Ninja Lux Cafe machine's journey from beans to cup. We used high-speed capture and macro lenses to isolate the ritual of premium coffee making, layering in dolly moves through tabletop setups to build momentum without feeling rushed. The color palette sits in warm browns and taupes, which meant careful soft lighting to avoid blowing out the espresso's crema or losing detail in the machine's surfaces. I leaned into hero shots and pour sequences where the product does the talking, letting the technical capability of the machine speak through clean, energetic framing rather than heavy styling. It's the kind of spot where you're not trying to make coffee look better than it is, you're just showing what actually happens when the engineering works.
