Lexus for Miriam Leone
Directed by: Alessio Fava
I shot this Lexus commercial with director Alessio Fava and Hogarth Italy in Milano, and it was one of those jobs where the location and the car both demanded precision. We went handheld in places where you'd normally lock everything down, which meant trusting the stabilization and keeping the sensor clean because any flicker reads wrong at that frame rate. The brief was about movement and control, so we leaned into motivated light and let the automotive geometry do the talking rather than drowning it in color grading. Miriam Leone brought a stillness to it that actually made the camera work feel more dynamic by contrast. It's the kind of shoot where you spend half your time thinking about what not to do.
