Prada ReNylon
Directed by: Prada
For the Prada ReNylon commercial shot in Milano, I wanted to push the material itself as the hero. We built the lighting around translucency and texture, letting the recycled nylon catch light in ways that felt almost tactile on screen. The color grading stayed restrained, cool but not cold, so the fabric's inherent quality came through without looking sterile. Prada's in-house creative direction meant working within a pretty specific visual language, which honestly forced better choices. We weren't overthinking it. The camera work stayed steady and composed, letting composition do the heavy lifting instead of relying on movement. It's the kind of job where you realize that sometimes the best cinematography is knowing when to get out of the way and let the product, the light, and the craft speak for themselves.
