Burger King Nacho

I shot this Burger King Nacho commercial with director Paolo Tonoli and production company Altamarea in Milano, and honestly, the brief was straightforward, which meant we could focus on the food itself. We went handheld in places to catch the energy of the product, then locked it down when we needed that hero shot clarity. The lighting had to walk a line, you know, bright enough that the cheese pull reads immediately but not so flat it looks like a supermarket shelf. I wanted texture on the nacho surface, so we layered some practical sources and bounced light off the set to keep things dimensional. It's the kind of shoot where you're not reinventing the wheel, but getting the fundamentals right, the color grading locked, and the product looking like something you'd actually want to eat, that's where the work lives. Paolo trusted the setup, we moved fast, and the client got what they needed.
