Directed by: Giacomo Boeri

We shot this Delonghi commercial in Milano with director Giacomo Boeri and More than 30 Seconds, and it was one of those jobs where the product itself demanded respect. You're lighting espresso machines and steam wands, which means you're fighting reflections and trying to make metal sing without it looking like a car commercial. We went handheld in places to keep things intimate, locked down where it mattered. The challenge was keeping the kitchen feel real while making the coffee ritual feel inevitable, you know? Boeri had a clear vision for pacing, and we built the lighting around that rhythm rather than just throwing everything at the subject. It's the kind of commercial where nobody notices the cinematography if you've done it right, which is exactly the point.
