Mutti Pasta Sauce

For the Mutti pasta sauce commercial directed by Paolo Tonoli, I shot in Milano with a focus on macro and hero-shot work that let the product's premium ingredients breathe. We used dolly moves and high-speed capture to build rhythm through the piece, keeping the lighting soft so the rich earth tones and deep reds of the sauce could sit naturally against the frame. The brief was to feel both rustic and luxurious, so I treated it less like a food spot and more like a slow-burn narrative about Italian heritage, letting macro-lens detail do the talking when we needed intimacy, then pulling back to landscape moments that grounded the whole thing. It's the kind of work where you're really just creating space for the product to feel like itself, not fighting it with unnecessary movement or color grading tricks.
