Burger King - Er King

For the Burger King "Er King" commercial, I worked with director Paolo Tonoli and Altamarea on a shoot in Milano that required a tight, efficient approach to food and product work. We went handheld and locked-off where it mattered, keeping the lighting clean and direct so the food read properly on camera without looking overlit or plastic. The brief was straightforward, the execution less so, but that's always the case when you're balancing speed with image quality on a commercial shoot. Paolo had a clear vision for pace and I focused on making sure every frame held up, whether we were moving or static. It's the kind of job where you leave the ego at the door and just make the work sing.
